Yta. The most common questions are answered below.

The zone palette does not appear
Open the menu bar menu and read the permission line. Accessibility Missing — Open Settings… means Yta is not yet allowed to work with windows. Choose it, turn Yta on under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, and try the drag again. The palette starts working without restarting the app.
If the line says Accessibility: On ✓, the drag is most likely being taken over by macOS itself. See the next answer.
macOS tiles the window or opens Mission Control instead
macOS has two of its own gestures at the top edge of the screen, and they reach the window before Yta's palette does. Turn both off under System Settings → Desktop & Dock: the setting for dragging windows to the screen edges to tile them, and, under Mission Control, the setting for dragging a window to the top of the screen to open Mission Control.
This is the single most common reason the palette seems not to work. The keyboard shortcuts are unaffected and are the quickest way to check that Yta is otherwise working.
A window will not move or change size
Some apps do not let the system change their window position or size, and some hold a minimum size that is larger than the zone. Yta places the window as far as the app allows and leaves it there rather than fighting it.
A window that is in macOS full screen is not on the desktop and cannot be placed in a zone. Leave full screen first.
The keyboard shortcuts do nothing
Check the permission line in the menu first. If it is on, another app or a system shortcut is likely holding the same combination — Control-Option with an arrow key. Quit or rebind the other shortcut and try again.
The shortcuts act on the focused window. If focus is on the desktop, on a menu or on an app without windows, nothing happens.
The permission is granted but nothing happens
macOS ties the permission to the exact app it was granted to. After replacing the app, switch Yta off and on again in the accessibility list, then quit and start Yta.
If the list holds more than one Yta entry, remove them all with the minus button, then let Yta ask again the next time it starts.
I cannot find Yta on my Mac
Yta is a menu bar app without a Dock icon and without a window. Look for the two-pane symbol in the menu bar and click it to reach the layouts, the permission line and the settings.
If the menu bar is crowded, macOS may be hiding the symbol. Widen the menu bar area by quitting another menu bar app, or move the symbol by holding Command and dragging it.
Yta on more than one display
The palette appears on the display the pointer is on, and the window is placed on that display. The zones follow the visible area of each display, so the menu bar and the Dock keep their space.
On a display with a notch, the palette shares that edge with the notch. Drag slightly to the left or right of it if the palette is hard to reach.
Moving a window to another desktop
Yta works within the desktop you are on. Moving windows between desktops needs interfaces macOS does not offer to apps, and is deliberately outside what Yta does. Use Mission Control for that.
Starting Yta automatically
Open the menu bar menu and choose Launch at Login. A checkmark means it is on. Choosing it again turns it off. macOS keeps this registration; Yta stores nothing itself.
macOS also lists the app under System Settings → General → Login Items, where it can be turned off.
Quitting Yta
Choose Quit Yta in the menu bar menu. Windows already placed stay where they are — Yta does not hold them and nothing moves back.
