Yta moves windows on your Mac and does nothing else. It has no account, no
advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no network connection, and it stores nothing about
your windows.

What does the app collect?
Nothing. Yta has no Yta account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it
collects no usage information for JOS. It contains no network code, so there is no server for
it to send anything to.
The accessibility permission
macOS offers apps no public interface for moving another app's window, so Yta uses the
system's accessibility interface. That is why it asks for permission under System Settings →
Privacy & Security → Accessibility, and why it cannot place windows without it.
Through that interface Yta reads the position and size of the focused window, and writes a
new position and size when you drop the window in a zone or use a shortcut. It reads them in
the moment the placement happens and keeps no copy afterwards.
Yta does not read window titles, window contents, text, keystrokes or the contents of the
screen. It also does not read which apps you use, beyond needing to know which window is
focused at the moment you ask for a placement.
What is stored on your device
Yta keeps no settings file, no database and no log of its own. There is nothing for it to
store: the layouts are fixed and it remembers nothing between placements.
Two records are kept by macOS rather than by Yta: the accessibility permission you granted,
held in the system's privacy settings, and — if you turn it on — the launch-at-login
registration, held by the operating system's login item service. Both are removed through
system settings.
Network
The app makes no network connections. The Help item in the menu opens your browser at this
site; that request comes from your browser, in the ordinary way, and only when you choose the
item.
System backups
Apple's device backup or a backup made to a computer may include the app itself. Since Yta
keeps no data of its own, such a backup contains nothing about your windows.
Support via email
If you email support, your address and the information you choose to include are used to
answer the question. Yta does not automatically attach or send anything.
Children
The app is not directed at children. It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or
profiling.
