One simple note. Nothing more. Always at hand in the Mac menu bar and on iPhone and iPad.
Synced with iCloud.
Write without organising first
Notesbar opens directly into a single note. There are no folders, titles or accounts to set
up before you start typing.
Use bold, italic, underlining and bullet lists. Clear unwanted formatting from a selection
with one toolbar action.
Saved locally first
Changes are written to a verified copy on the device before cloud synchronisation is
attempted. You can keep editing when the network or cloud service is unavailable.
Notesbar keeps previous local versions and periodic snapshots. If two devices create
conflicting edits, both versions are preserved and you choose which one should continue.
Between your devices
When the system cloud service is available, Notesbar synchronises through a private app
container connected to your device account.
At home on the Mac
Keep Notesbar in the menu bar and choose whether the formatting toolbar sits below the note
or along its right side. You can also let it open when you log in.
Choose System, Light or Dark appearance and one of the named text sizes in Settings.
Bring an existing note
Import an RTF note from Settings. Notesbar reads the selected file without changing the
original.
Requirements
iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later, or a Mac running macOS 14 or later.
