Focus Round collects nothing about you. This page explains what the app keeps on your device and why.

Last updated 18 August 2026

What does the app collect?
Nothing. Focus Round collects no personal or usage data and contains no advertising or analytics. It does not send your timer activity, settings or focus history anywhere.
What is stored on your device
Your timer settings, appearance choice, sound choice and notification education state.
The active timer snapshot, including its phase, status, planned duration and expected end time. This lets the countdown recover after a restart or time spent in the background.
For each completed focus session: a random identifier, start time, end time, planned duration and completed duration. This is used only for the local History screen.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Focus Round asks the operating system to show one when the active timer is expected to end. The pending notification is cancelled when you pause, reset or skip. Notification permission can be changed at any time in system settings.
Live Activities
While a timer is active, Focus Round asks the operating system to present its phase, status, remaining duration and expected end time on the Lock Screen and, on compatible iPhones, in the Dynamic Island. This information remains on the device.
Data transfer and synchronisation
Focus Round does not transfer timer activity, settings or history off the device. Timer history is not synchronised between devices.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.
