A quiet focus and break timer that lives in the Mac menu bar and on iPhone. Start a focus
session and let the countdown keep track of the rest.
One screen, one decision
Start a 25-minute focus session in one tap. Pause, resume, reset or skip when you need
to.
After each completed focus session, Focus Round prepares a short break. Every fourth completed
session is followed by a longer break.
Durations and automatic starts are optional settings. Changing a duration does not alter
a timer that is already running.
Made for the background
The timer uses an end time rather than counting only while the screen is awake. When you
return after locking your phone, switching apps or waking your Mac, the remaining time is
recalculated from that stored end time.
Allow notifications if you want a quiet signal when a timer ends. Focus Round asks only after
you start your first session. You can still use the timer if you decline.
On iPhone and iPad, a Live Activity shows the active countdown on the Lock Screen. Compatible
iPhone models also show it in the Dynamic Island. A paused timer stays visible, and a completed
timer changes from blue to green.
On the Mac
The compact window and menu-bar timer share the same countdown. Start in one place and
pause in the other.
Closing the window leaves the menu-bar timer running. Press Space in the window to start,
pause or resume.
Your focus stays yours
There is no advertising or analytics. Settings, the active timer and completed focus
history are stored locally on the device.
Requirements
iPhone or iPad running iOS 18 or later, or a Mac running macOS 15 or later.
