Keep the list moving

Add a task in one line, tap or click its text to edit it, and check it off when it is done. Completed tasks remain visible by default and can be hidden without being removed.

Delete one task with a swipe on iPhone and iPad or from its row on Mac. Clearing all completed tasks always asks for confirmation first.

Your order, by hand

Drag tasks into the order that makes sense now. Active and completed tasks keep their own order, which follows the list between your devices.

Saved locally first

Every accepted change is written to a versioned local store before cloud synchronisation is queued. You can keep working when the network or iCloud is temporarily unavailable.

A previous local snapshot and durable pending changes help the app recover safely after an interrupted write or restart.

Between your devices

When iCloud is available, Todobar synchronises through its own private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. There is no separate Todobar account.

Fits where you use it

On iPhone and iPad, place the task input at the top or bottom of the screen. On Mac, Todobar lives in the menu bar, can open when you log in and can place its toolbar below or beside the list.

Choose System, Light or Dark appearance and Small, Medium, Large or X-Large text.
